Simon Gooding - ENGINEER
Simon Gooding is the in-house Producer and Engineer for Roundhead Studios, New Zealand's premier recording facility. With over 10 years experience both locally and internationally.
Simon has worked with Ed Sheeran, P!nk, Migos, Dua Lipa, Neil Finn, Fazerdaze, Tiny Ruins, Alien Weaponry and many more. More recently he has worked on new music for Six60, Mitch James and Drax Project, including their chart topping single 'Woke Up Late'.
His diverse resume of projects reflects both a commitment to the highest quality sound and the desire to take an artist's work to the next level.

Paddy Hill - ENGINEER
Paddy has been working at Roundhead since 2016 with a diverse range of artists and projects. He enjoys analog workflows, using the studio as an instrument in itself. He is also competent running session on tape machines.
Some of Paddy’s credits to date include assistant engineer on ‘Out of Silence’ by Neil Finn and ‘Stoneyhunga’ by SWIDT, additional engineering credits on ‘Snowbound’ by The Chills and ‘Light Sleeper’ by Neil and Liam Finn, and engineer credit on ‘A Quiet Divide’ by Rhian Sheehan.
Paddy has also been involved organising various events at Roundhead, including NZ Music Producer Series, Songhubs and IMNZ Going Global.

Emily Wheatcroft-Snape - Assistant Engineer
As the studio assistant engineer Emily works with on a variety of sessions both big and small. She has worked on sessions with artists such as Dua Lipa, Devil Skin, and the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra. She ran Pro Tools for Susan Rogers during ‘Songhubs Sphere’ and assisted Sylvia Massy during the NZ Producer Series 2018.
Emily is credited on Mitch James’ self-titled album, Kimbra’s live session with Warner Music, and the 2018 Play It Strange compilation album.
Emily is able to run Pro Tools during recordings, is developing her skills in drum and vocal editing, and can do session prep for mix engineers.

Scott Seabright - Freelance Engineer
With 7 years of industry experience, Scott has worked with a range of artists in a range of local recording studios including York Street Studios and as a previous in-house engineer at Roundhead.
Throughout his career Scott has worked New Zealand and international artists such as; Shihad, Passenger, Mumford & Sons, Neil and Tim Finn, Sons Of Zion, and Julia Deans.
Scott’s album credits include; Shihad ‘FVEY’, Passenger ‘Young As The Morning, Old As The Sea’, Neil and Liam Finn ‘Lightsleeper’, Alien Weaponry ‘TU’, and Strangely Arousing ‘What Do’.

Tom Healy - Freelance Engineer
After studying English and Music at Otago University, Tom has worked in the New Zealand music industry for 10 years as an audio engineer, producer, and musician. Artists he has worked with include Tiny Ruins, Jamie McDell, Popstrangers, Bic Runga, and Jen Cloh.
Tom is able to adapt his engineering and musical skills to work on any aspect of a project. He is credited as producer, recording and mix engineer on; Tiny Ruins ‘Brightly Painted One’, Popstrangers ‘Fortuna’, Nomad ‘Can You Feel It?’, Dunes ‘Dunes’, and Clap Clap ‘Riot Dull Life’.
